Abstract

The Refugees and Recognition – Toolkit 3 (ARENA) project, led by NOKUT (the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education), focuses on improving access to higher education and employment for refugees, displaced persons, and those in refugee-like situations, particularly individuals lacking formal documentation of their education. The website offers an overview of the project’s goals, partners, and outcomes, including practical tools and policy recommendations for credential recognition in Europe. Visitors can explore country briefs (Yemen, Sudan, Palestine, Burundi, Rwanda) outlining national approaches to refugee recognition, as well as webinar recordings highlighting case studies and implementation experiences from participating countries. The ARENA Pathway includes a set of practical guidelines, available free of charge as a module.
